Saturday, April 8 – Stargazing at Wiley Road
Please join us just before sunset (7:30pm) at the Wiley Road parking lot to view the spring skies. Telescopes and information provided by the Royal Astronomical Society – Niagara Centre. It is important to arrive before the sun sets to prevent car lights from blinding the viewers. Dress warmly and hope for clear skies.

The Friends is excited to announce that explorer Adam Shoalts will be speaking at our April 12 meeting about his early adventures in and around the Short Hills. Our GM starts at 7:30pm, followed by the talk by Adam. Please RSVP your attendance by April 7 to shorthillspark@gmail.com
Saturday, April 22 – Trash Bash 2023
To celebrate Earth Day, the Friends of Short Hills Park is again hosting its annual Trash Bash. This event targets the perimeter of the park and the three parking lots. Volunteers are asked to meet at the bottom of First Street Louth for 9am. Wear bright clothing, sturdy foot wear and gloves – garbage bags will be provided as well as refreshments. Community service hours available to high school students.
